Product Introduction

MATRIX MBP‑2100 series is high‑precision single‑channel programmable DC battery simulator, including MBP‑2101 (160W), MBP‑2102 (200W), MBP‑2103 (240W). Max output voltage 20V, output current 8‑12A.

Featuring a 4.3‑inch TFT screen with bilingual Chinese‑English interface. Operate via numeric keys or rotary knob for fast parameter adjustment. It delivers high resolution, low ripple and low noise with voltage rise time under 20 ms. Intelligent fan control balances cooling and low‑noise performance.

Built‑in DVM voltmeter and 4‑wire remote sense compensation are available. It supports list sequence editing, real‑time waveform observation, local / USB‑disk parameter storage and shortcut‑key recall. Equipped with RS232 and LAN interfaces, compatible with SCPI and MODBUS protocols for PC remote control. Built‑in OVP, OCP and OTP protections secure instrument and DUT during tests.

FAQ

Q1: How to toggle local / remote mode? A: Unit defaults to local control after power‑on. PC communication triggers remote lock of front panel. Press Local key to restore manual panel operation.

Q2: How to wire for 4‑wire (4W) sense compensation? A: Use original cables: plug connector with white rubber ring into OUT terminal, connector without white ring into SENSE terminal. “4W” on screen = 4‑wire active; “2W” = disabled.

Q3: What is the cycle range for List sequence? A: Cycle range: 0‑99999. “0” = infinite loop. Each step supports setting voltage, output current, input current and step time.

Q4: Cannot communicate with PC, how to fix? A: 1. Confirm correct port selection (RS232/LAN) in menu. 2. Verify baud rate, protocol (SCPI/MODBUS), terminator and device address. 3. MODBUS requires valid address; SCPI needs correct terminator.

Q5: Output turned ON but no voltage/current? A: Make sure voltage & current setpoints are non‑zero. Check OVP/OCP trigger status. Confirm secure wiring. Check CV/CC status on display.

Q6: DVM measurement range? A: DVM DC measuring range:‑30V ~ +30V. Respect polarity, reverse connection may damage hardware.

Q7: What files can save to USB drive? A: MSF general‑parameter files, MTF sequence files, CSV test logs. Waveform records can also be saved to USB.
