FAQ
What method is recommended for integrating the unit into a production or test rack environment?
The unit is designed for installation either on a bench or mounted in a rack enclosure. Connect the mains input, set the output voltage, frequency and current via the front panel or remote interface, and configure protections and remote-control modes. This enables it to function as a programmable ac power source within a structured test or production workflow.
What warranty and after-sales services are offered for large-scale or OEM orders?
Matrix provides warranty coverage for manufacturing defects and calibration drift, along with technical assistance for commissioning and configuration. This service framework supports our role as a global power supply supplier delivering robust platforms in volume.
Is the system compatible with existing test instrumentation and control systems?
Yes. The unit supports standard communication interfaces (e.g., LAN, USB, RS-232 or optional GPIB) which enable integration with electronic loads, data loggers, scopes and automation controllers. It is engineered to act as a variable ac power supply within broader test frameworks.
What is the typical lead time for bulk orders or customised configurations?
Lead times depend on model, configuration and quantity. Matrix maintains production capacity to satisfy wholesale power supply requirements, but clients should provide full specification and scheduling information at an early stage to align with manufacturing logistics.
How is operational safety, data integrity and remote control managed in network-enabled use?
The device runs command-based control and does not store user-specific personal data. Built-in safety functions—including over-voltage, over-current, thermal and short-circuit protection—ensure safe use when deployed as a power source in critical environments. Secure network practices are recommended for remote operation setups.
